Frequently Asked Questions
The straight answers, no fluff.
What platforms does FlowLogr support?
Windows + Sierra Chart—that's it for now. We may support other Windows platforms in the future. No plans for Mac or Linux.
What version of Sierra Chart do I need?
A current version. Keep Sierra Chart updated and you'll be fine.
Is my data stored in the cloud?
Nope. 100% local. Everything lives in a single folder on your machine—trades, screenshots, journals, databases. Nothing gets uploaded anywhere. Your P&L is your business.
How much disk space do I need?
Depends on your capture settings. Screenshots are full quality by default—bigger capture areas mean bigger files. If you trade frequently, plan accordingly.
Will FlowLogr slow down my trading?
No. It's native Windows, fast, and non-blocking. Screenshots and logging happen in the background. You won't notice it running.
How do I back up my data?
Everything's in one folder. Copy it wherever you want—external drive, Dropbox, wherever. No automatic cloud backup; you're in control.
How much does FlowLogr cost?
Pricing will be announced closer to launch. It'll be a one-time purchase with a lifetime license—no subscriptions.
Who is FlowLogr for?
Discretionary and orderflow futures traders running Sierra Chart. If you're still learning the SC basics, get comfortable there first—then come back.
What kind of support is available?
Limited. Probably won't be as good as Sierra Chart's. But if you can handle SC, FlowLogr won't give you trouble.
Does FlowLogr work on mobile or small screens?
No. Desktop only, 1920x1080 minimum. This is for traders with multi-monitor setups who need room to review charts—not for phones or tablets.
What version of Windows do I need?
Windows 10+.
