What platforms does FlowLogr support?
Windows + Sierra Chart. We may support other Windows platforms in the future. No support for Mac or Linux.
What version of Sierra Chart do I need?
A current version. Keep Sierra Chart updated and you'll be fine.
Is my data stored in the cloud?
Nope. 100% local. Everything lives in a single folder on your machine—trades, screenshots, journals, databases. Nothing gets uploaded anywhere. Your P&L is your business.
Does FlowLogr send my data anywhere?
No. Your trading data never leaves your machine—no uploads, no analytics, no telemetry. The only network requests FlowLogr makes are checking for updates and fetching scheduled market news (if you enable that feature). That's it.
How much disk space do I need?
Depends on your capture settings and how many fills you have per day. Screenshots are full quality by default—bigger capture areas mean bigger files. Compression is configurable, so you can trade off file size for quality. A typical trading day might use anywhere from 50–500MB depending on your setup.
Will FlowLogr slow down my trading?
No. The study is fast and lightweight. It runs off thread so it never hinders or blocks Sierra Chart performance. Screenshots and logging happen in the background. You won't even notice it running. The Windows application uses a Rust backend with a light webview wrapper for UI. It's super snappy through and through.
How do I back up my data?
Everything's in one folder. Copy or auto-sync it wherever you want—external drive, Dropbox, wherever. No automatic cloud backup; you're in control.
Who is FlowLogr for?
Discretionary and orderflow futures traders running Sierra Chart. If you're comfortable using Sierra Chart, FlowLogr will be a breeze.
Which markets does FlowLogr support?
FlowLogr is built and tested for futures markets. It may work with other markets like crypto or stocks through Sierra Chart, but we haven't tested those—there could be edge cases or quirks we don't know about yet.
What kind of support is available?
Limited: Email and Discord.
Does FlowLogr work on mobile or small screens?
No. Desktop only, 1920x1080 minimum. This is built for traders with large multi-monitor setups in mind who need room to review charts—not for phones, tablets, or laptops.
